I am from Bobcaygeon, Ontario Can. For many years there were two Edgar families living in Bobcaygeon, which is about 45 minutes from Chandos or Chandos lake. I have quite a lot of info regarding my famil history. We were always under the impreesion the two families were cousins. After much research I hit a dead end.I can not make a connection with this Edgar branch My family came from Cumbria in England. So am sure Samual Edgar is not connected to us
