I just read your posting on Owen T. Edgar. I just discovered that he was my great-great-great grandfather! Here is the lineage:

William A. Edgar was my great-grandfather, who was son of James A. Edgar, who was son of Owen T. Edgar.

I found several census records showing that Owen was a plate printer in Philadelphia, and then moved to Washington DC in 1870's.

If anyone is related to Owen, James or William Edgar, please contact me. I would like to learn more about this part of my family (and may have info. to share with you).
