Mary Jane Pairo died at Rock Hill, 2101 S Street. Daughter of the late Benjamin Edes of Baltimore whose grandfather was a member of the Boston Tea Party. In the hall at Rock Hill hangs a mirror which hung in the hall of the house from which the Boston Tea Party started its expedition.
Conducted a girls school in Washington, D.C. One son, Richard Pairo, a lawyer; two daughters Alice and Eleanor.
Note that Alice and Eleanor drowned in a boating accident in 1908.
