EDER FAMILY: Wea, Kansas, 1800s. Mary Eder of Wea married Jacob Miller of Wea (I'm waiting for their marriage license now), and they had at least three children (probably around 1891, 1895 and 1898) named Effie, Robert or Peter and Raymond. (I'm waiting for their 3 birth records now.) Robert (Peter) Miller was my father, born either in 1895 or 1898.

I have one photo showing 10 adults and 3 children (probably 3 generations) gathered around a Christmas tree and piano in a lovely Victorian room, but we can identify only the three children. Can you help us identify the adults?

According to my father, his older siter Effie Eder married a man named Bridgman or Bridgemann or Bridgeham, and they soon moved first to St. Louis, then to Elizabeth, New Jersey. Effie Eder B had at least one child, a daughter, who at the start of WWII traveled through Aurora, Illinois, and stopped to visit my father (her Uncle Bob or Uncle Peter) on her way further west to join her new husband in the military. We'd love to re-connect with that daughter or any children of Effie Eder Bridgman or Bridgmann et al.

I have more information on Effie Eder Miller's sons Raymond and Robert (Peter). Please contact me.

Effie Eder of Wea, Kansas, may have had a sister named Lena E. Eder. I'm waiting for her marriage record to learn her married name.

I would love to know more about Mary Eder's ancestry.
