Michele --

I am one of the St. Louis Eders and my deceased Grandpa Harvey Eder used to go to Detroit to visit relations and bring back booze during Prohibition ( I assume the statute of limitations applies.)

I was sent a family tree-like letter perhaps 8 years ago by an unmet relation who showed family both in Detroit and L.A. (some of whom were musicians as I now recall), so I consider it fairly likely that we are talking about the same Eder clan.

I will try to find this letter to see if you or some of your relatives are listed. I am especially interested in finding out about the German root(s). If you want to correspond or post, please do so.

Regards.
