Hello Larry....I have not found Chas Eden's parents however he was a colonial Governor so was born in England. The best that I could find is that he was survived only by a sister. There is some thinking that he did business with Black Beard, the pirot during the Rev war blockade period. There was a town Edenton, NC. Robert Eden was colonial governor of Maryland. He returned to England during the war years. He came back to US after the war and was able to reclaim his property. He died here and is buried at Annapolis MD...John Eden
