A question for any Englanders here: What is "Harrow on the Hill", Middlesex?

This is for any English persons here, or actually anyone that may know: One of my Edelen ancestors, descendant of mainlanders who came to England with or as French Hueganots (at least that is what one source said), was born abt 1500 in "Harrow-on-the-Hill", Pinner Marsh, Middlesex, England. I know where Middlesex is, but what on earth is "Harrow-on-the-Hill" or "Pinner Marsh". Is it some suberb or area near Middlesex, a castle or estate, or what? Just curious.
