I am a member of the Cherry Valley Historical Society and I am looking for information on Josiah Eddy. Who he was and where he came from. I am transcribing a book that is now 152 years old. Josiah was one of the founders of the Cherry Valley Free Will Baptist Church. The first record is dated 10 Feb. 1855.
Josiah has good hand writing and good spelling so obviously he was an educated man.
Josiah died in 1871 and is buried in Cherry Valley Cemetery.
I am putting together a history with the transcribed pages of the old church record book.
If any one can help with family info, it would be appreciated.
