In a new book, "Men to Match Our Mountains" by Jay Lawson Copyright 2007 Pronghorn Press, there appears on page 109+, a nice biography with photos of Anson Eddy of Cody Wyoming. He spent one season with my parents on their ranch up the Southfork of the Shoshone 20 miles west of Cody, Wyoming. I remember visiting him with my dad, Bill Smith, one time when I was doing research on John Colter. We went up Ishawooa Creek looking at trappers' caches and had lunch with him in his small cabin.
