I'm conducting research for a book about Anson H. Eddy Junior (1893-1982), who lived the life of a mountain man near Cody, Wyoming, and became a folk hero in this region.

His obituary states that he was born in October 1893 to Anson and Caroline Douglass Eddy in Monkton, Vermont. I have very little else to go on.

Does anyone have information about Anson Eddy Senior of Vermont, or, for that matter, about Caroline Douglass Eddy?
