Looking for 1893 artist Emma A. Eddy - Chicago

Hello-

I have what appears to be charcoal portraits of my great-grandparents that is signed by Emma A. Eddy, Chicago 1893.

The signature is very clear with the exception of "Emma".
We are almost positive that is the name, however, a second choice would be Erma.

Does anyone have any information on this artist?
