Looking for info on Joseph Eady (listed as Eada in the 1830 Warren Co TN census). Joseph was age 20 to 30 in 1830. He was killed while participating in a horse race. His wife Lavina (nee Hitchcock) was adm. of his estate in 1840. Joseph and Lavina's oldest daughter, Louisa "Liza" Jane (Moffitt), was born in 1832; she is my direct ancestor.
There is a William Edda in the 1820 Warren Co TN census.
We pronounce the name with long E; example: Eedee.
