You know, I just looked again at the original 1850 US Census in Dist. 49 in Lawrence, MO and I believe this is actually Luke T. Eddington & wife, Mary (Stockton) Eddington. It is listed as "S. T. Eddington" by indexers but the "S" really is an "L." Further down the page you can see the s's are written differently.
Luke T. and Mary ended up in the 1860 census in Yont, Napa Co., CA. Louisa J. Eddington is 15 years old in this census.
There is an area in the Napa Valley where CA wines are made called Yountville. Napa Co. is north of Alameda Co.
In 1870, I found Simon & Louisa Guiberson living about 10 miles from where I now live.
I think Louisa was the daughter of Luke T. Eddington and Mary Stockton and that is what I suggest you research.
I relate to the Eddington line through Richard Eddington, b. TN in 1833, died in MO in 1873.
