All I know about Jean Brand is that she was the d/o William Brand and that she married David Eddie 6 Dec 1754 and had 10 children. They lived in Kincardine, Scotland.

My Eddie family almost always is spelled "Eddie" in the records. In Scotland, they are found exclusively in Kincardine and in the parishes of Bervie, Arbuthnott and Kinneff & Catterline. A real tight-knit group until my gr. gr. grandparents (Joseph Eddie & Helen Middleton) headed for Arbroath ca 1835/36; to Newcastle-on-Tyne ca 1848 and to Canada (Oxford County, Ontario)ca 1860/61.
