My grandmother was an Eckman (Laura Viola Eckman Frew). Eckman is one of many names I have researched in the last twenty years.
My information on Draucher is through John Eckman's marriage to Elizabeth Draucher. John was born cAugust 28, 1781 in Lancaster County, Pa. John and Elizabeth were married June 11, 1811. He was the son of Johannes Jacob Eckman and Catherine Foutz.
Elizabeth Draucher was born 1786 and was the daughter of Adam Draucher and Sarah Bergman.
Elizabeth had a brother Adam Draucher who married Catherine Eckman, sister of Jacob Eckman. Catherine Eckman Draucher was born cJanuary 6, 1791 in Lancaster County. Adam and Catherine were married October 18, 1818 in Lancaster, Pa.
