I show an Elizabeth Eckman born in Lancaster County in 1816. She married a John Donley in 1838, according to The History of the Slaymakers. They had three sons: Hugh (b. 1839), Henry, James (b. 1841) and one daughter Sarah. Sarah married John Walter Eckman. They had eight children.
Elizabeth was the daughter of John Eckman (1781-1859) and Elizabeth Draucher (b. 1790). They were married in 1811. John (Elizabeth's father) was the son of Johannes Eckman (1746 - 1804) and catherine Fautz (1757 - 1830). I have no info on Elizabeth Draucher's parents. Johannes was the son of Jerome Heironimus Eckman (1718 - 1784)and Anna Barbara Slaymaker (1726 - 1796).
I have no other info on John Donley.
Could you please share info on Elizabeth & John's IL years? Thank you.
