Information I have in my notes is that one Thomas Willson, born about 1775 probably Lancater County, Pa., married one Elizabeth Eckman. Elizabeth was the daughter of Johannes (John) Eckman and Catherine Foutz.
Elizabeth Eckman was born February 28, 1779 in New Providence, Lancaster County, Pa.
Elizabeth and Thomas had the following children - John 1799-1802; Sarah 1801-1802; Daniel 1803-1826; John Eckman 1805-1890; Catherine 1807-1935; Elizabeth 1810 -?; Susan Bell 1813-1843; Thomas 1815-?; Hugh James 1818-1828; and Clark 1820-1887. Elizabeth's parents were again Johannes Eckman 1746-1804. Catherine Foutz 1757-1830. They were married in 1776 in Lancaster County and both are buried in the Eckman Cemetery which is now part of a private home in LC. These residents have keep this very small cemetery in excellent condition. Johannes (John) was the son of Jerome Hieronimus Eckman b.1718-Germany to d.1784 Bart township and Anna Barbara Slaymaker b. 1725 Strasburg township to d. 1796 Bart township. They too are buried in the old Eckman cemetery. They were married in 1744 in New Holland, L.C., Pa. Hieronimus was the son of Johannes Eckman and Eva Dorothea Seitz. Johannes died in 1755 in L.C. and she was born about 1696 in Germany and died in L.C. Anna Barbara was the daughter of Mathias Slaymaker and Catherine (last name unknown). Mathias was born 1685 in Germany and Catherine 1685 in Germany. Mathias died December 18, 1762 in Strasburg township, Lancaster County. He and Catherine are buried in the Old Leacock Cemetery in Lancaster County.
