Hello Amy, It is possible that we have been in touch before but I sure can't remember. I have done a lot on the two Chandler brothers who came to Henderson County, Texas after the Civil War. I will need some time to find the paperwork about them. I still don't have everything entered in my database from when I did the research. I got some done but certainly not all of it. I have to clear my genealogy stuff out of the way for company during the holidays and it will be a while before I locate it. Meanwhile, we could set up a meeting at the Athens library. It has some books I would want to show you which even have a few pictures of the family in them. This is one of my favorite research subjects. I was amazed to find my Eckles descendants right here where I now live. Hassell and Alphonso Chandler are both buried in Henderson County and I have been to both graves. You can email me at or
