Looking for info on Mary Emily ECKLES, born Sep 28, 1826 in Yorkshire England. Some records list father as Thomas and mother Ann Pallister Manchester but others show father as George. Believe Mary married James Robert Barker, also from Yorkshire in Wayne Co. MI in August 1850 but so far, not able to confirm. She had 3 sons in MI. Would like to find out when and how she came to America and info on parents in England.
