Just come across your posting Re: Eckhardts. Some of the things you mention, come close to the Eckharts I'm looking for.(Note the dropped d) . The ones I have are as follows. Henry b. ?? d. 1876 m. Martha Kullmer. Children of Henry & Martha: Adam, Henry, Chris, Peter, George, William, Martin, John & 3 unknown females, Also have some info on a Fred, but don't know how he fits in. The Peter I have was married to a Maggie and he was 27 yrs old on the 1895 census. This census also lists a son Moris that was in the under 5years of age column. From what I have been able to find out about my Eckharts they were in the Rock Island, Ill., and Iowa area. From a death certificate I have I also belive that the parents and some of the older ones were born in Germany.
