I have an Ecker connection from Cook County - William Ecker & his wife Dora Noel Ecker. They are my "brick wall" - Dora is listed as living in Chicago in a 1946 obituary of one of her siblings; Bill & Dora are listed in the Chicago phone book up until 1961. (After that there were no more phone books until 1970, when there was no listing). I'm looking for Dora's death date, as well as William's. I also don't know if they had any kids.
