Your message brings up an interesting thought/idea that has been floateing around among Eckenrode/Eckenroth/Eckroth genealogists for quite a while. It is believed that there may have been two Henry's/Heinrich Eckenrodes that landed here in the 1700's. There is the aformentioned son of Johann Wilhelm that is widely documented and another older Henry that some believe may have been the brother of Johann Wilhelm.

I have my lineage on my web site but I also have links to other Eckenrode sites. The most complete is the one created by Lois Stafford. If your family isn't on her site, I would be amazed.
