Henry Ignatius Eckenrode, born 7 Mar 1844 to George & Mary, was christened 7 Apr 1844 at Conewago RC Church, Adams County, PA. Henry received 1st communion 16 May 1858 at Mt. St. Mary's in Emmittsburg, MD. Henry, Margaret & some children are buried at St. Anthony's, south of Emmittsburg. Henry's father, George, died Frederick County, MD leaving will. George married Mary Kelly at Conewago. George was enumerated 1850 at Mt. Pleasant Twp, Adams County, PA (Henry is in household). George was born 11 May 1803 to John Eckenrode & Anna Maria and christened at Conewago. John was the son of Henry, son of John- the immigrant ancestor killed 1757 by an Indian war party. I have extensive notes on the family and some on the family of the immigrant Henry, who came on the same ship as John.
