Jane Echols married Solomon Ray in 1796 in Wilkes co Ga. I am trying to find who her parents were. I know Solomon Ray and Jane Echols went to Jackson co Ga in the late 1790's and when Clarke co Ga was formed from Jackson co Ga in 1801 Solomon Ray's property was in Clarke co Ga. I thought maybe her father was James Echols who died in 1823 in Clarke co Ga but I am not sure. Maybe her father was his brother Benjamin Echols. Any info about who Jane Echol's parents were would be appreciated. Maybe her middle name was Jane. I don't know. Thanks,Ross
