James Echols 3 Jan 1800 Oglethorpe Co. They seem to have moved to Franklin in 1807, and Forsyth in 1840. I was interested in this because a Rebecca Martin m. George Davis a little earlier. Also Martins married Holsembacks, and Davises or Watkins m. Holsembacks. I have not figured out all of those connections. I have not been able to go back further than Rebecca and George Davis. Another Rebecca Martin m. Washington Chamblee in 1837 in Forsyth. She is probably related to the Rebecca Martin who m. James Echols, a niece is what seems logical to me. But who was her father? Cullen Davis of Forsyth is related to my George Davis. Sandy Otos Notify Administrator about this message?
