Jerry,

Check the Cave Forum this has been proven several times by smyself and others. Among many other things, John Echols and Mary Cave's children were born beginning 1690's..placing her birth ca 1670 (certainly no later than 1680 at the very latest). Well, Elizabeth Travers's father Giles Travers was born AFTER 1664 by various incontravertable proofs. Thus there is NO WAY he (Giles) could have had a grandaughter (Mary) at age six (or even 16 at the very very latest).

Someone saw Mary Cave daughter of John Cave from Milner Echols records...then Travers wills saying a John Cave married an Elizabeth Travers...and simply (and incorrectly) assumed this was the same John Cave, which is ABSOLUTELY DEFINITELY not.
