Ruth, Not sure what this means. But my Joseph was born abt 1823, thats coming from the 1880 North Carolina Census-he was 75 at the time. Joseph was married to Jane Harger. They had 4 children George Washington Echols, John F. Echols, and Cabel Echols, and William B. But do you see the name simililarities. Maybe you can figure out what it means. I am getting nowhere with Joseph and Jane. Also Pittsylvania county is the countty right next to Henry. Tell me what you think....
