John, Oklahoma has not shown up in our line yet. Our grandfather Elijah Pennington and his brothers Sylvanus Grady, Isaac Newton, possible Obediah and James, and his sisters Elizabeth and Mary Patience (Latham) came in the late 1840's to Cass County in North east Texas. Other Echols were here too and we assume they were cousins. We cannot find where they lived exactly before Coosa County Alabama except somewhere in Georgia. We know that EP's father was born in Virginia. Every little bit of information helps fill in the blanks -- by either elimination or addition--Thanks
