My mother's maiden name is Echols. She was born in Oklahoma in 1932. Her father's name was Alvin. Her family relocated to the California San Joaquin Valley in 1940. I have conducted a search on this site for Echolses in Oklahoma, but to no avail. Does anyone have any knowledge about Echolses in Oklahoma. (By the way, is Echolses the proper way to delineate the plural of Echols?)
