Sarah Echols who married Dr./Rev. William
A. Anthony in 1824 in Pittsylvania Co., VA
was daughter of David and Dianna Echols. I
am not sure who this Sarah Anthony was as
there are several in the Anthony genealogy.

I found one Joel Echols whose father was
John and mother Judith Compton, another Joel
had father Elkanah and mother Elizabeth
Anderson, this Joel was married to Susannah
Weir.
The William A. Anthony above moved to Marshall Co., MS after Sarah died in 1853.
He remarried and died in 1866. There has to
be aconnection to these families. You might
contact walterboswell1Aemail.msn.com He
is an Echols descendant. Please keep me
posted.....Larry Anthony Walter lives in
Alabama and is a retired college teacher.
