Augustus T. ECHOLS: ( ca 1823 TN? - 1851 AR). Married 1845 Lincoln Co., TN to Mary ANDERSON (ca 1823 TN - 1855 TN). Children: William J. (1846 - 1895), Martha Ann (1848 - 1924), Augustus T., Jr. (1851 - 1897)

Augustus was on tax list in LINCOLN County, TN in 1846 and 1847.

Augustus was in 1850 Census ST. FRANCIS County, Arkansas with wife & 2 children PLUS Delilah ECHOLS age 45, b. GA and Caroline ECHOLS age 17, b. TN. [possibly mother & sister of Augustus?]

After Augustus' death in 1851 in Arkansas, Mary brought children back to Lincoln Co., TN. Mary died in 1855.

3 Echols orphans are listed in the 1860 Census of Lincoln Co., TN with John ANDERSON [assumed to be Mary's brother].

I am seeking information on August T. ECHOLS' father, mother, sibling(s). ANY information APPRECIATED!
