I just wanted to let you know that my grandfather was Edward Echols, Sr. and I have some information that might be of interest to you on the Echols.
Louie Samuel Echols, Sr. was born on 8-28-1874 in Rome, GA. He was married to Lula McVey some time in 1900 the exact date is not known. Louie died in 1952 in Jacksonville, FL. Lula McVey was born 6-17-1882 in Galveston, TX and died in 1957 in Jacksonville, FL. The only other info that I have is that Louie Samuel Echols, Sr. father was Dr. Edward Dandridge Echols. All that is known about him is that he was born in Rome, GA but the exact dates are not known.
