I know that most if not all of the children and grand children of Richard Echols who was the son of John Echols and Mary Cave went to Georgia by the 1790's. Would anyone know if any of the other sons of John Echols and Mary Cave had children or grand children who went to Georgia by the 1790's> My ancestor was Jane Echols (might have been her middle name)who married Solomon Ray in 1796 in Wilkes co Georgia. I have researched all of Richard Echol's children and grand children and unless I missed one there was not a Jane Echols born about 1779-1780 that married a Solomon Ray so maybe she did not descend from Richard Echols. Maybe she descended from one of Richard Echol's brother. Would anyone know any of John Echols and Mary Cave's sons had descendants that were in Georgia by the 1790's? Maybe she descended from one of them. After five years of trying to find who Jane Echol's parents were any help greatly appreciated. Jane might have been her middle name. She and Solomon ray had sons William,Elijah,Silas,Ransom,Solomon Jr and John and a daughter named Nancy Jane so maybe Jane's name was Nancy Jane. Thanks
