Grandmother--Elizabeth S. Echols-born in l855 somewhere in Georgia. She had two twin brothers (Homer & Oscar Echols). In an old Bible of my grandparents there was a newspaper clipping on a Mrs. S. C. Echols, born April 20th, l884 in Green Co. Ga. She died Aug. 24th, l884. She was 64 years old, a Presbyterian, and did have children, but it did not mention names. There was a poem typed on the bottom and it was signed by the initials of S.J.E. Maybe this will help. I am searching also.
