You had tried to help me find who Jane Echoo's parent's were. She was born about 1779 and married Solomon Ray in 1779 in Wilkes co Ga.You had mentioned John Echols who died in 1750 in Beaort co NC. You had listed one of his sons name s Cobb but I wanted to let you know his name was Caleb. Maybe one of John Echol's sons went to Georgia. They would have been about the right age to have a daughter named Jane born in 1779. Just a guess. My question is the Edward Echols you listed as living in Ga. You said you had only seen his name a fe times. He is listed in Wilkes co ga as Eckles most of the time. I don't know why. He lived very close to George Ray,father of Solomon Ray in Wilkesco ga. Do you know if Edward descended from Richard Echols like most of the Echols living in Wilkes co Ga in the 1790's did. He is the only one I can not dseem to find much info about or who his parents were. Solomon and Jane had children William,Elijah,Silas,Ransom,Solomon Jr,John and Nancy. Maybe Jane's name wa Nancy Jane Echols. Thanks, Ross
