Hi,

I am doing some family research for someone whose ancestors are Eccles of Lower/Over Darwen. I think you may be connected somehow.

I have looked on the 1871 Census and cannot find William Eccles, 1820, Lower Darwen, so I assume he was dead by then.

Go to www.cottontown.org and you will find a piece on Eccles Shorrock (Father: Ralph Shorrock - Mother: Mary Eccles. This Eccles Shorrock is a cousin to your William Eccles.
