Thank you Joe for this additional reference!

You might be interested in looking at the Mertz Church records also -- William Henry Egle, ed, Notes & Queries: ... Pennsylvania, origianally published in Sat issue of Harrisburg Daily Telegraph, 1894-1896; five annuals pub 1896-1900, also reprinted, extracted, and digitized [S.I. : Broderbund, c1998], FHL, SLC, 974.8 B2nq; Mertz Church extract, LDS film #722603.

I have record of a daughter of Conrad, Catherine, probable grand daughter of Johannes, estimated birth ~1802, possibly married to a George Cooper ...

If Lorentz had five daughters born before 1800, perhaps there is lower genealogical pressure or evidence to identify him as some one's ancestor, and any one of them could have been a Catherine.

I've been away from this line for a while, so forgive me if I am repeating an earlier post.

Thank you,

Bill
