Anna Muller's maiden name is EBLING. In this Ellis Island record, the ship manifest, is the name of the "relative... in country whence alien came" is "Father in Law: Janos EBLING in Peszak."

Muller, Balnit (Balint, w/accent over the a, is Hungarian for Valentin/German) from Peszak, Hungary Aug 04, 1907 - age 42, a Butcher in Peszak
- Joining Peter Unterreiner in Pittsburg, PA.

Traveling with wife and kids:

Jody also added for me: Peszak is Hungarian for Pesak (German) was/is in Banat - Today is known as Pesac, Romania - Just north of Lowrin and south of Periamosch, which from what I see in google searches, all 3 villages were closely knitted. See on Alex's map: http://www.rootsweb.com/~romban/map/m3.html

Thanks again to Jody and the others for their invaluable suggestions.

Anyone related?

Sarah
