2 sisters, Catoline & Sophia Rosina EBERLEIN or EBERLIN (both were probably born
in the 1820’s in Hesse Kassel, Germany) were the daughters of Conrad EBERLEIN and
Anna Maria Unknown (maybe ROMHILD or ROEMHILD). Both of these sisters got
married in the same wedding ceremony 15 August 1852 Portage City, Columbia Co., WI.
Catoline married Friederich MARTIN who was the son of Conrad MARTIN & Elisabeth
Unknown, farmer of Columbia Co. WI, b. in Germany
Sophia Rosina married Carl Heinrich WEYHRAUCH (WEIHRAUCH, WEYRAUCH)
who was the son of Johan WEYHRAUCH and Margaritta Unknown, a taylor of
Columbia Co., WI, b. in Germany.
I have no further info on the line of Catoline EBERLEIN & Friederich MARTIN. Did
they stay in Columbia Co., WI? Did they have children?
Sophia Rosina EBERLEIN and Carl (Charles) WEYHRAUCH had several children and
those lines lived in Faribault Co., MN - Akron Twp, Wilken, MN - Rothsay, MN -
Barnesville, MN - Harmony, MN - LaCrosse, LaCrosse, WI - Marion, ND - Great Bend,
Richland, ND - Breckenridge, Wilkin, MN - Wahpeton, Richland, ND - Hankinson,
Richland, ND. Other surnames in this line are: MADSON, YOUNG, HENKE, MORE,
GROUWS, WECHEL, STOLTENOW, BERNDT
