Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

The Ferdinand Eberlein in my tree also fought in the Civil War, but for a MN unit, and died in Mississippi in 1863. As far as I know, he never married or had children. He had 2 other brothers who were also in the war, Ed fought with the MN Mounted Rangers and survived the war, George fought with the WI Vol and died in 1863 in Louisianna.
