Hello Lu,
I was trying to find out more about Noah and Elizabeth Eberhart Speers that settled in Memphis, TN. In some other articles I found that there were several Eberharts also buried in Memphis. One was an Adolph Eberhart so I figured that some of Elizabeth's cousins from PA also settled there. You can find some Eberharts buried in Memphis by looking into the burial records for Shelby County, TN. If you have any obits or other newspaper articles for your cousins or my Speers in Memphis I would appreciate a copy. In any case I will forward anything that I find on your Eberharts to you.
Are you familiar with William Eberhart that operated a glass plant in Belle Vernon? I believe he was the son of the elder Adolph Eberhart of New Geneva. You can find some info on the Eberharts in J.S. Van Voorhis's 1895 book "The Old and New Monongahela". It mentions the glassworks in BV, Monongahela and perhaps Fayette City, PA. This book is in many libraries in the Mon Valley.
The Crow family was prominent in the area too just across the river in East Pike TWP or Allen TWP in Washington County.
I am from Belle Vernon.
