History of the Eberharts Available Free Online
The book "History of the Eberharts in Germany and the United States from A. D 1265 to A. D. 1890--625 Years", by Rev. Uriah Eberhart, published in 1891, is available for free online at https://play.google.com/store/books/details?id=PcZJAAAAMAAJ&rdid=book-PcZJAAAAMAAJ&rdot=1(You will probably have to cut and paste this link into your browser.)
While this book is useful, it's hardly a definitive genealogical reference. For example, as another post on this forum has clarified, Paul does not appear to be descended from Michael, and the claimed connections to Wurtemberg nobility are entirely unsubstantiated. With no disrespect to Rev. Uriah Eberhart, who did a fantastic job with the resources he had, Wikipedia is a much better resource for the history of the Dukes of Wurtemberg.Nevertheless, the portion of this book that deals with US-based Eberhart history provides interesting insights into the daily lives of our ancestors.
