Hi Pamela-- I am researching a line which comes down through Catherine Eberhard Cress's daughter Catherine Cress Bost, her daughter Margaret Bost Raymer, etc. Have you found out more about Catherine Eberhard's background since your earlier posting? I presume you know about the headstones of her and her husband Johan in the St John's Lutheran Cem in Cabarrus Co.
Catherine Eberhard's birth is sometimes estimated to be 1725 in Mecklenburg County. That is rather early to be in that part of Nprth Carolina. It would be nice to have some solid evidence about Catherine's birth and parents.
