Hi - We are in possession of a hand-made bassinet, made back in the 1940s, that was bought at a garage sale back in the early 80s here on Long Island. It was made of plywood and moved on wooden wheels. When we brought the bassinet home, we noticed that a family (obviously one who owned it) had apparently written the names of the babies in the family who slept in it. We are now converting the bassinet into a planter, and have removed the 3 remaining bottom slats on which is written the baby information. They read as follows: Slat (1) Judith Ann EBERHARD - April 16, 1942, Roslyn, N.Y. Slat (2) Barbara Dee MAC GEORGE - Oct 22, 1940, Glen Cove, N.Y. Slat (3) James Edward GNECCO - Oct. 22, 1943, Richmond Hill, N.Y. If you know any of these people, please contact me so we can send these out to their rightful owners. Thanx. Regards, Kathy - Long Island NY Notify Administrator about this message?
