Tom,
I appreciate your help, but I don't believe that this is the right Emily and Ernest, sadly. For one, Ernest would have been 31 or 32 in 1920 at the time of the census. Also, my great-great grandparents only had 4 children: Elenor, Irene, Bernard Steele, and William Calvin Steele Senior(my great-grandfather). I regret to say this but the information does not fit. Thank you for the effort though, it's the thought that counts, right. If you do wish to make further queries into my Ebeling Ancestory, you can contact me here or at my E-mail address, [email protected] and I can give you further information on my Grandmother's in-laws and the Eggert side of the family. Sadly enough, all of my information is limited to what my mom knows. But fortunatly enough, she has much more information on Ernest Carl Frederick Eggert than most would expect someone to know about their great-grandparent. Even a little bit on his education and occupations. He lived in Ohio from the age of 36 and 76(when he passed away) further disproving your information from the 1920 census. As this was only a quest of curiosity, I thank you for your help even though it was fruitless.
Thank you for your time and help,
Toni Schafer
