I have just recently found an EBELING connection to my family:

"Johanne" Sophie Magdalena EBELING b. in Krimmensen, HAN, DEU. who married Heinrich Christian BEHRENS of HAN., DEU. He was a linen weaver in 1831.

Heinrich & Johanne had a son: "Franz" Heinrich BEHRENS b. 14 Mar 1831 Krimmensen, HAN, DEU. and baptized 4 Apr 1831 in Ellensen, HAN, DEU.

I have other records that show Franz's birthdate as 8 Mar 1832. Most records in the US show his birthplace as Markoldendorf, HAN. and his name as "Heinrich".

I have found one immigration record in Charleston, SC:

BEHRENS, H. Hannover to Chas.(SC) 1858 33 yrs
29 Oct 1867 (citizenship)

Was wondering if you have any information on EBELINGS from the Einbeck/Maroldendorf areas. Or if you have any BEHRENS.
