Hello Kinfolk,

As I was watching the news last night, across the screen flashed the name Ebanks. My husband was startled and said out loud Ebanks!!!. Thats a very rare name. Nomarally people spell ebanks (Eubanks) but this was different. Immediately I knew that I had to find out who this mysterious person was. The name flashed on Channel 13 Eyewitness News (houston, texas)as they were talking about the up coming Essence Festival. So i found myself on the net, Googling and it has led me to this place. I was reading the posted messages. It took be back to a conversation I recently had with my grandmother who is a Ebanks (by marriage). There were two bothers that were from Cayman Island both had decided to move to Nicaragua. One to Bluefield and another further north Nicaragua. Now Jamaican's tie into this somehow someway. If anyone knows anything close to this please feel free to email me
