Eliane, Thanks for the info you sent. Just to muddy the Rhoday waters.... in my research I ran across a reference to Rhoday purchasing 116 acres of land in Albemarle, VA in 1785. I thought he was in Georgia during that period. It may indicate the two Rhoday theory has some validity. The area appears to have some descendants of Thomas E(a)ves (c. 1671)of Northumberland County who migrated to Stafford County, VA. There is no indication of Rhoday's relation though.
