There was an Amanda listed in the 1850 census as 3 years old, born in Winston Co. MS to William Eaves 31 from Georgia.
1850 Winston MS Census lists a James Eaves family, a John B. Eaves family, and a William Eaves family. All the older ones are from GA, middle ones from Alabama, younger ones from MS. They are likely brothers, part of Buckner's Children.
Among them is the Willam Eaves family:
William Eaves 31 GA
Elizabeth 19 AL
William 6 MS
Amanda 3 MS
Salena 1 MS
This would make the birth date around 1847 and birth state Miss, so not likely to be your Amanda, but posted anyway for information for anyone that can use it.
