Patrick Eaves and 2 sons named James?

I have a question. It seems that the Solomon and the James Eaves in McMinn County in 1850 census and listed in the same household are brothers and therefore the son of Patrick Eaves of Polk County and later McMinn County. The question is if James with Solomon is the son of Patrick then who is the James listed in Patricks household in 1850 as age 7 years old.

There is a Monroe Eaves that is in the records of Polk County Tennessee on the taxlist prior to 1850 does he have anything to do with the second James in Patricks household or does Patrick have 2 sons named James. Any help appreciated.

Darren
